Quilt Pattern with yardage calculations and cutting diagrams
A full set of QuiltSandwich yardage calculations and cutting diagrams are magically created for the placeholder blocks. The set also includes yardage calculations and cutting diagrams for all the other pieces in the QuiltSize layout — sashing, cornerstones, border(s) — as well as basic cutting diagrams for backing, batting and binding!

QuiltSandwich tools make it easy to adjust pieces to your favorite methods — such as switching the yardage calculation and cutting diagram from Straight Binding to Bias Binding.

Replace QuiltSize blocks with pieced block pieces
The blocks from QuiltSize are added as a single square. QuiltSandwich can help calculate the yardage needed for the pieced blocks that will be used for the quilt —
  1. Delete the QuiltSize Blocks by swiping left on the piece
  2. Add each piece to QuiltSandwich using the finished size and total number needed. Instantly yardage is calculated and cutting diagrams are ready for your review. Of course, you have full control over all the allowances!

Using a die cutter? Check out this tip for using QuiltSandwich to help you figure yardage!

Swap in fabrics for the pieces from QuiltSize — Sashing, Cornerstones, Borders, Binding, Backing and Batting. Then, as needed, adjust Allowances.
  1. Tap gold 'Select from Fabrics' tile to choose a fabric from the Fabric Stash. Don't see the fabric you want? Tap FABRICS in the bottom tab bar to take a snap and add a new fabric to the stash, then assign it to your quilt piece.
  2. Review the cutting diagram and adjust settings until it is just right — tweak allowances for shrinking and squaring up, set for one-way design fabric, or even adjust the seam allowance!

Check settings for Borders, Binding, Backing and Batting and adjust to fit your favorite methods.
  1. To check Binding — Tap the Binding row to review the settings and cutting diagram.
  2. QuiltSandwich creates a double-fold binding with a 3/8" finished front width.
